A few days ago some reporters were claiming that Julio Cesar to Napoli on a season long loan was all but done.
We brought you quotes yesterday by both his agent and the chairman of QPR which seemed to state otherwise and now Brazilian reporter Jon Cotterill has stated that the Brazilian has turned down a move to Napoli.

Arsenal have been tracking the keeper for some time and at the start of the summer it was claimed that a deal to bring him to the north side of London was done [I’m sensing a ‘done’ theme this summer].
The player himself had previously spoken about both he and his children would prefer to remain in London.
At this point with stories flip-flopping all over the place it’s hard to know the truth of anything at all.
Are Arsenal still interested? Did he turn Napoli down for Arsenal? For someone else? No-one knows but one thing is for sure – it won’t be long until a journalist somewhere decides not knowing simply will not do and makes up their own version.
I am also aware that this whole piece rests on believing Cotterill, but his version fits better with the direct quotes which came out yesterday, and quotes were something which were missing from all the other reports which claimed he was heading to Napoli in the first place.
