Italian media are linking Arsenal, along with Tottenham, with a move for Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar after it was revealed that he would no longer have a place at the San Siro.
It seems a strange move as it is unlikely that Cesar would want to come to Arsenal as a back-up keeper to Szczesny, so while he might be an option for Spurs it is unlikely that Arsenal are after him (famous last words eh?).
Cesar had been linked with Roma but they have since denied any interest in the 32 year old keeper. Arsenal released Manuel Almunia this summer at the end of his contract but despite stating a desire to move on to another club in search of a first choice slot, Fabianski still remains and has regained fitness after missing the Euro’s through injury.
It is not known if Arsenal will be letting the Pole go, if they do they will certainly be in the market for a back-up keeper as Mannone, the other senior keeper at the club, has stated a desire to move on as well.
